New Listly Features
I rolled out some cool new features to Listly last night. A lot of these are direct responses to requests users have made, along with a few new things that we thought were just cool.
You can now Like things that people have added, along with the ability to add other people’s items to your lists. I think that these two features alone will make Listly easier and more fun to use, but there’s more.
I’ve added a brand new product page for each item you add that shows off the beautiful full-res images, along with all the other information nicely displayed so you can easily make your buying decisions.
In addition to the product page, we’ve added an items listing that allows you to easily scan through the items that you, or your friends, have added. This is a great way to find new things from friends’ lists, or just stumble across something that you’ve added in the past.
You can also now move items from one list to another, which was a pretty big oversight on my part in the previous version, sorry. Soon you will be able to copy items to other lists, in the event you want to have something in both a private and public list, but for now you can just move them.
And overall, I made a bunch of fixes and minor updates to make things a little cleaner and more reliable, like some new image grabbing stuff in the bookmarklet that should minimize the blacked out images on the site and some nice design updates.
I am pretty happy about the progress that has been made so far, but there’s a bunch more on the old todo list to get to, so stay tuned…
